Wisdom Teeth Extractions

Wisdom Teeth Extractions

Wisdom Teeth can be a pain at the best of times. For the majority of people, there is simply not enough space for the Wisdom Teeth to grow into the mouth the way all of the other teeth do. This can cause pain, swelling and infection in the area. They most commonly tend to cause problems in approximately 18-30 year olds, although they can create issues at any age.

If your dentist has recommended for you to have a Wisdom Tooth extracted (taken out), there are a few different ways in which this can be done. In straight-forward cases, the dentist can arrange for this to be done in the chair without much intervention required.

For more complicated cases, the tooth/teeth may need to be taken out by the Dental Surgeon. We can arrange this to be done within our clinic at a time that suits you, without the need to go elsewhere!

Our clinic offers multiple forms of Sedation, for those a little anxious at the prospect of an extraction. Options range from ‘Happy Gas’ (Nitrous oxide) through to General Anaesthesia, if required. Speak to your dentist today about which option might be suitable for you.
