Anxious Kids
For those children who require a little extra help to relax and have a pleasant experience, we offer ‘Happy Gas’ (nitrous oxide) sedation. Your child’s dentist will discuss this option with you if they think that it will help your child to be more comfortable during a procedure. It is considered a relatively low-risk option and can often make the difference between children wanting to return for future appointments, instead of developing an avoidable fear of dentists.
In more extreme circumstances, we can offer treatment under General Anaesthesia for children where conventional treatment and sedation options are not appropriate.
